Cancellation Notice

It is the student’s responsibility to notify me of the cancellation of a lesson prior to the scheduled lesson. If you must cancel your lesson, a 24-hour notice is required in order to receive a make-up lesson. Without advance notification, the lesson will be forfeited. A maximum of two make-up lessons will be given during a semester regardless of how many lessons were canceled. Students are required to notify me of conflicts such as testing days at their school, pep rallies, early release days, and any other events that might conflict with scheduled lesson times.  Please understand that the time slot you are reserving is for the entire semester.  I will make-up any lessons I have to cancel at no additional charge.
All additional make-up lessons will be held in Dec!

Commitment

All students are required to commit to private lessons for a full semester. Tuition fees are non-refundable. Students are expected to prepare carefully for each week’s lesson, including practicing scales and technique, and bringing equipment such as instruments, music, shoulder pads, etc. to lessons. Consistently not practicing, forgetting supplies, being late, not notifying me of a lesson cancellation, or paying fees late may result in a student being dismissed from private lessons.

Financial Commitment

Any returned checks will result in an additional $25.00 return check fee. In the case of two returned checks, payment will have to be made by cash, money order, or cashier’s check.

Payment Plan

Payments for the semester may be made in up to four equal installments due by the 5th of the month.  Please note that any payments made after the 10th of each month must include a $25 late fee.  If you would like to give me post-dated checks, they will not be deposited until the 5th of each month.

If you need to make other payment arrangements, please contact me via email at JohnMHolguin@yahoo.com.

Thank you,
John M. Holguin, M.M.
